A 23-year-old man has died from injuries suffered when his motorcycle collided with a truck on Rucker Boulevard at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.
Bert Dannil Radford Jr. passed away in the accident, which occurred in front of Michael’s Jewelers, near the intersection with Doe Street.
According to an Enterprise Police Department release, the truck was attempting to turn west onto Rucker Boulevard when the eastbound Honda motorcycle struck it.
Witnesses said the motorcycle was racing in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed before the accident.
Emergency rescue personnel and EMT firefighters, along with Enterprise police, were immediately on the scene.
The man was transported to Medical Center Enterprise, where he was pronounced dead.
The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
