Samson residents arrested on drug charges, chemical endangerment

A Samson man and woman were arrested on chemical endangerment and other drug-related charges with total bonds totaling $170,000.
Coffee County Sheriff’s Deputy Neal Bradley made the arrest at a residence on County Road 460.

Arrested and charged were Tammy Rushworth, 37, of Co. Rd. 460 and John Lincoln Mock 30, of Co. Rd. 460, Samson.

Rushworth was charged with manufacturing of methamphetamine, first degree; first-degree drug paraphernalia; chemical endangerment of a child; possession of a controlled substance; first-degree possession of marijuana and contempt of court for failing to appear.

Rushworth’s total bond was set at $148,000. She was released from the Coffee County Jail on a property bond.

Mock was arrested and charged with the chemical endangerment of a child, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, first degree. The suspect’s bond was set at $21,500. Mock remains in the Coffee County Jail.
