An Elba man who has been held in the Coffee County Jail since last Tuesday was charged with two more alleged crimes over the weekend, bringing the total number of charges against him to eight, according to arrest reports.
Undray Chism, 30, is charged with three felonies including two counts of second-degree burglary and breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. He was also charged with four criminal misdemeanors including first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree domestic violence, obstruction of justice by using false identification and failure to appear on a harrasment case.
Chism also faces a civil charge of failure to pay child support, stemming from a 2001 complaint. He is being held in jail on a total bond of $57,500.
In other law enforcement news, Coffee County Sheriff's deputies arrested 28-year-old Nickalus Jerry Ashley of Daleville on a warrant Friday and charged him with felony probation violation. The warrant stems from a previous charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Also on Friday, the Enterprise Police Department arrested 20-year-old Rashaad Glover of East Park Avenue and charged him with first-degree felony robbery and misdemeanor unlawful possession of marijuana.
Coffee County Sheriff's deputies arrested Elba resident Kenneth Wayne Harrison, 46, on a warrant Sunday. Harrison was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana and misdemeanor posession of drug paraphernalia.
Over the Columbus Day holiday weekend, Alabama State Troopers, New Brockton police and Enterprise police made three DUI arrests, three domestic violence arrests, and five misdemeanor alcohol and drug related arrests.
