Wildcats baseball team loses
The Enterprise High School Wildcats came out of the gates swinging Friday and before an 11-4 win against Houston Academy ended, Wildcat batters had earned 16 hits.
Elba baseball team, coach notch season’s first win
The Elba High Tigers avenged an earlier loss to Slocomb and won their first game of the 2009 season Friday with an 8-6 come-from-behind victory.

EHS girls lose to Dothan Tigers in title game
The Enterprise Lady Wildcats missed a slew of free throws Saturday night in the championship game of the 6A Area 5 tournament and fell to the host Dothan Tigers, 36-34.
Four Enterprise High students sign football scholarships
Brandon Tisdale, Preston Penn and Bryant McGowan recently signed football grants-in-aid with the University of West Alabama, and will be headed to Livingston in late summer.

EHS ninth graders win thriller over Jaguars
It took until the final buzzer for the Enterprise High School ninth grade boys basketball team to win its ninth game of the season Thursday in Clayton. The Wildcats won a thriller 38-37 in the Barbour County High School gymnasium where many a good team goes to get trounced.

Lady Wildcats roll past Rebels
A high school basketball team does not lose too many games when it holds its opponent to 2 points in an eight-minute quarter. The Enterprise High School Lady Wildcats proved that Monday with a 60-16 victory against the Rehobeth Lady Rebels.
Enterprise rebounds with rout of Rehobeth
The Enterprise Wildcats improved to 6-4 on the season with a 74-57 win against the Rehobeth Rebels Monday night. The game with the 5A Rebels, on the surface, was a physical mismatch.
Gamecocks find new problems in Kinston win
In many of their contests this year, the New Brockton Gamecocks have outrebounded opponents but struggled to hit free throws and made numerous turnovers.

Dauphin wins city title behind post play
In a loss to Geneva Monday, the Dauphin Junior High boys lacked great play from their two starting post players, Clark Quisenberry and Josh Boykin. With the city championship on the line against Enterprise Junior Thursday, that was not a problem.
