Tampa Bay Ray player shares testimony with students in Enterprise

Gabe Gross of the Tampa Bay Ray baseball team spoke with students at Enterprise Preparatory Academy Thursday. He shared stories of his experiences playing various types of sports and how God is more important than anything - even more important than being a sports star.

Gross graduated from Northview High School in Dothan, he attended Auburn University, where he played baseball and football, he started six games for Auburn in 1998, passing for 1,222 yards and made seven touchdowns.
Gross played for the USA Olympic Qualifying Team in 2003. His father, Lee Gross, played in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints (1975-77) and Baltimore Colts (1979). Gabe has a brother, Bo Gross, who played football at Texas Christian University. Gross enjoys hunting, fishing and golf, and his favorite movie is “The Man From Snowy River”.
