Warrant arrests result on drug, robbery, theft and kidnapping charges

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department and Enterprise Police Departments reported several drug and warrant arrests this week.
On Thursday, Enterprise police arrested Jerry Louis Chew, 26, of Old Salem Road, Enterprise, on a charge of first-degree robbery. Police also arrested Christopher Johnson, 23, of Colony Drive Apartments, for felony possession of a controlled substance.
Trey Key, 18, of New Brockton was arrested and charged with second-degree attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools.
Others arrested on warrants issued from the Coffee County District Attorney’s office were:
—Kenneth Lytton, 50, of Howell St., Enterprise, on a charge of second-degree theft of property by deception.
—Thomas Andrew Hollis, 42, of Highway 51, New Brockton, for failure to appear on charges of first-degree kidnapping and assault.
—Cyrus Desmond Pierson, 23, of S. Rawls St., Enterprise, on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and a probation violation.
—Roy Alex Jordan, 18, of Bull Branch Rd., Coffee Springs, on a theft of property charge.
—Antonio Demetrice Smith, 35, of Martin Luther King Dr., Elba, for failure to appear on charges of second-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
—A grand jury indictment was served on Rickey Sutton, 30, of Cinema Drive Apartments, Enterprise, on a charge of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
—Kevin Caylor, 27, of Morgan Lane, Enterprise, was arrested on a felony second-degree receiving stolen property charge.
—Clinton Lee Fayard, 46, of Ozark, was arrested on charges of first-degree and second-degree theft of property.
—Aaron W.F. Smith, 19, of Ariton, was arrested in the Jack community for possession of marijuana, second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.

I recognize a few names on this list of criminals.  One of them I know has been arrested and convicted of various crimes many times over the last 30 years.  When is the criminal justice system going to get tough on these career criminals?
