Three arrested on crack cocaine charges
Coffee County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three men on drug charges at the intersection of Highway 134 and Highway 189.
Arrested were George Kirkland, 21, and Dameon Andrews, 19, both of Monroeville, and Mark Travis Price, 31, of Laurel Hill, Fla.
Two of the men were carrying pistols without licenses for the firearms. Kirkland and Andrews were charged with possession of a controlled substance believed to be crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree charges of possession of marijuana and the carrying a firearm without a license. Price was charged with first-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Thursday, Enterprise police charged Merrel Pierce, 51, of Newton, with two counts of reckless endangerment involving children. Pierce is in the Coffee County Jail.
Police also arrested Darrell Lee Senn, 27, of Lowery Street in Enterprise. He was charged with reckless endangerment.
Malcom Theodis Hunter, 21, of Bell Street in Enterprise, was arrested on a warrant and charged with first-degree assault.
Matthew F. Ahroon, 21, of Oak Lake Drive, Enterprise, was arrested Friday and charged with distribution of a controlled substance.
Elba police reported the arrest of Aurian Stoudemire, 25, on Martin Luther King Drive in Elba. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies also charged Ron Castro Hill, 21, of Highway 875, Elba, for possession of a controlled substance.
Bobby O’Neal Wambles, 20, of Willow Street, New Brockton, was also arrested and charged with minor in consumption of alcohol.
