In Enterprise weather forces changes in parade and tree lighting

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Downtown Christmas Parade scheduled for Dec.1 has been postponed to Thursday, Dec.3 at the same scheduled time of 6 p.m.
According to weather forecasts, the possibly of severe weather exists for Tuesday evening, Dec.1.  “The safety of parade participants and attendees is our primary concern”, stated Enterprise Chamber President Phil Thomas.  “We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope that everyone will understand”, Thomas added.
The annual City Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled for Dec. 3 has been moved to Friday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at the Recreational Complex on Highway 167 north.
