Board of Education approves personnel changes

The Enterprise City Schools Board of Education approved the following personnel changes as of Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Requests for leave were approved for Mary Young, lunchroom manager at Coppinville Jr. High School; Brenda Killpack, teacher at Holly Hill Elementary School; Amanda Parker, fourth grade teacher at Holly Hill Elementary School and Krystal Head, third grade teacher at Harrand Creek Elementary School.
The resignations of Ricky Knight, custodian at Holly Hill Elementary School, and Scott Van Rope, custodian at Holly Hill Elementary School, were approved.
Board members approved transfers of Connie Thompson from academic enrichment teacher at Rucker Boulevard Elementary School to academic enrichment teacher at Rucker Boulevard/cross county coach at Enterprise High School, Amanda Patrick from science teacher at Enterprise Jr. High School to science teacher at Enterprise Junior High School/girls head soccer coach at Enterprise High School, Anabelle Velazquez from lunchroom worker at Coppinville Jr. High School to ESL teacher aide at Hillcrest Elementary School, Wilbur Gibson from bus driver to bus driver aide, David Edgar from science teacher/assistant football coach/eighth grade boys basketball coach at Dauphin Junior High School to science teacher/assistant football coach at Dauphin Junior High School, and Jon Steed from physical education teacher at Pinedale Elementary School/assistant baseball coach at Enterprise High School to physical education teacher at Pinedale Elementary School/assistant baseball coach at Enterprise High School/eighth grade boys basketball coach at Dauphin Jr. High School.
Employments approved by the board are Kelli Barfield, special education teacher at Coppinville Jr. High School; Eric Brunson, special education teacher aide at Coppinville Jr. High School; Tara West, Linda Castillo, Jason Flowers, Hannah Adkison, Janet Corneil and Gabriel Rivera as bus drivers.
Sherry Jackson and Liz Jones were employed as full-time bus driver substitutes.
Jay Morgan and Paul Massey were hired as eight-hour per day custodians at Holly Hill Elementary School.
