Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bowden of Enterprise announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandi Nicole Bowden to John Eric Duhaime, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Duhaime of Enterprise.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joann A. Wade and the late Robert C. Hatcher of Enterprise and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bowden of New Brockton.
She is a 1998 graduate of Enterprise High School. She attended Auburn University Montgomery and received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing in 2002.
She is currently employed with Southeast Alabama Medical Center as a surgical nurse. She will be attending Troy University in the fall pursuing a Masters degree in Nursing as a Certified Registered Nurse Practioner.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Yarbrough of Enterprise and John R. Duhaime and the late Mary E. Duhaime of New Brockton.
He is a 1990 graduate of Dothan High School. He attended and received a certification at the Montgomery Police Academy in 1995.
He is currently employed as a contractor with the United States Army at Fort Rucker. He is also a police officer with the city of Headland.
A family wedding is planned for Friday, July 31, 2009 at 4 p.m. at Grand Lido Negril, Jamaica.
