Bartlett-Cole Engagement
Amber Bartlett and Kellen Cole
Ms. Karen Stockbridge and Mr. Michael Bartlett of Gulfport, Miss., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Jeanne Bartlett to Kellen Bures Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cole of New Brockton, Ala.
Miss Bartlett is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stockbridge of Gulfport, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fitz James Bartlett also of Gulfport.
Miss Bartlett is a graduate of St. John High School and Auburn University, where she received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. She currently resides in Nashville, Tenn., where she works for the Army Corps of Engineers.
Kellen Cole is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bell of Livingston, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Vester Cole of New Brockton. Kellen is a graduate of New Brockton High School and Auburn University, where he received a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree.
He currently resides in Nashville, where he works for Gresham, Smith and Partners.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, August 29, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Nashville, Tenn.
A reception will follow at Aerial.

I am a BARTLETT researcher (and a US Navy Seabee from the RVN era). I am researching BARTLETTs from Colonial America up through the early 1900s. I was googling Fitz James BARTLETT and got your announcement. I have several Fitz James BARTLETTs in my reseach, from Washington, DC and from Maryland. I’m trying to sort them out. Amber, I think your grandfather was a Seabee, but I don’t remember meeting him. I have DNA on file for one of the Fitz James BARTLETT lines which connects with Josiah BARTLETT who signed the Declaration of Independence.
